Window cleaning software for rounds that repeat

The round is set up once and appears where it should, week after week. Who has paid and who has not is on one screen, and the late ones are chased without you writing a message.

The OlasBoard job pipeline as window cleaning rounds use it: leads, booked jobs, work in progress and done, each with the client, the date and the price
  • Recurring rounds set up once
  • Crew included in the plan
  • Chases small amounts automatically
  • Works with no signal on the ladder

What a repeating round does to your week

“The round lives in a notebook and in my head.”

Recurring visits are set up once and turn up on the right days. If you are ill, somebody else can run Thursday without ringing you to ask what is on it.

“Chasing €18 costs more than €18.”

It gets chased on a schedule with the message already written, whether it is €18 or €1,800. Small debts stop being written off because pursuing them was not worth the evening.

“I can never remember who paid at the door and who did not.”

Cash at the door, card or transfer all land on the same job, and one definition of unpaid runs across every screen. No two lists disagree about the same customer.

“Rain moves everything and I re-plan by text.”

Move the visit and the crew see it move. What got rained off can be offered back out and picked up by whoever has the gap.

“Taking somebody on for the summer means another licence.”

Not here. Seats come with the plan, so a two-person summer and a one-person winter cost the same.

“Customer says I skipped them.”

The visit carries a date, a time and a photo if you took one. It is a five-second answer rather than an argument.

A round, week to week

  1. MondayThis week’s visits are already there. Nobody rebuilt the list.
  2. TuesdayRain stops play. Two visits move; the crew see the new day on their phones.
  3. WednesdayRained-off work goes back out. Whoever has room takes it.
  4. ThursdayCash collected at the door lands on the job as you go.
  5. FridayEverything unpaid is on one screen. The old ones are already being chased.

The real problem is not knowing what is going on in your own business

Everything else follows from that. If you cannot see it, you cannot price it, chase it, or tell who is carrying the work.

Do you actually know what you made last month?
Not turnover — what was left. Income, costs and the margin on every job in one place, so the answer is a screen rather than an evening with a bank statement.
You pay a manager. Can you see what they did?
Leads handled, how fast they answered, what converted. From the record, not from their summary of it.
Which of your clients are still short?
One definition of unpaid across every screen, and the late ones chased on a schedule with the message already written.
Did anybody actually go to that job?
When it was taken, when it started, when it finished, and the photos from while they were there.
Are you pricing the work right?
What you quoted sits next to what it took. After a dozen jobs you are pricing from your own history instead of hoping.

Numbers from what people did, not from what they reported

Most tools tell you what somebody typed into them. These figures come off the work itself: the moment a job was taken, the moment it was started, the moment it was finished, the hours that fall out of that, and the photos attached while the person was standing there.

Nobody writes their own report card. That is the difference between a dashboard you believe and one you argue with.

Per-person performance reporting is on the Business plan. Job records, timings and photo proof are on every plan.

For anyone running a crew

Stop ringing round to fill a job

The job goes to the whole crew at once and the first person free takes it. No calls, no group chat you have to keep track of afterwards.

  1. 01

    You add the job

Client, address, time, price. Thirty seconds, from the van.

  2. 02

    The whole crew sees it

One offer to everyone instead of five messages sent one at a time. Their phone buzzes.

  3. 03

The first one free takes it

Exactly one person gets it, however many tap at once — and nobody can take a job on top of one they already have.

  4. 04

    You find out without asking

It shows who took it. If nobody does, you hear about it in hours, not on the day.

And your crew does not cost extra

Most tools in this category price per user, and “user” means anyone with a login — your crew, your subcontractors, the person in the office. The bill grows every time you hire.

Here the seats come with the plan. €99 a month covers up to 20 people, and the price is the same whether 20 of them are working today or two.

Everything the job needs, in one app

Stop paying for five tools that do not talk to each other.

Built in, not sold separately

An assistant that has read your books

It sees your pipeline, your invoices, your expenses and your crew — and answers the questions a good business partner would.

  • “Who owes me money and how late are they?”
  • “Which of these leads should I ring first?”
  • “Am I actually making anything on recurring cleans?”
  • “Photograph this receipt and file it against yesterday's job.”

Ask by typing, by voice, or by photographing something. It advises and drafts — you stay the one who decides. Included from the €19 plan, not held back for an enterprise tier.

window cleaning software — questions

Does it handle recurring rounds?

Yes. A repeat visit is set up once and appears on the right days from then on, and the invoice can repeat with it rather than being rebuilt each time.

Can it chase small unpaid amounts?

Yes, on a schedule, with the message written for you. The size of the debt does not change whether it gets chased.

Does it do route optimisation?

No. Jobs carry addresses and sit on a calendar, but the driving order is yours. If optimising the route is the main thing you are shopping for, this is not the tool.

Will it work offline?

Yes. Work recorded without a signal is queued and sent when the phone reconnects.

Do I pay per person on the round?

No. Seats come with the plan — taking somebody on for the season does not change the bill.

Can I take cash at the door and have it counted properly?

Yes. Cash, card and transfer all record against the job, so the day’s takings and what is still owed are both right.
